January 5th, 2012. Even after all these years of making beads, occasionally I still open the kiln and get a surprise. This medium shaped lentil bead really came out interesting, in my opinion. Looks like a pretty sunrise landscape with pink flowers at the bottom and a dramatic sky that has a wonderful metallic sheen. The butterfly is one that I just finished, and I'm very happy with the way it turned out. After a few butterfly failures in the past couple weeks, it's nice to have one work the way I wanted. There is only a butterfly on one side, the back side is just the landscape. The entire bead is encased with clear creating lots of depth. Hand formed brass end caps have been riveted on with copper tubing. Price is $49.00 and size is approx. 27 x 27mm. January 5th, 2012. I'm doing a bit of house cleaning and came a cross a package of finished earrings that I made several months ago using Raku fired ceramic pieces that I made. Photos never do them justice, just doesn't capture the interesting colors of Raku! All the ear wires are made of sterling silver. Many are accented with Bali Silver, Pearls, and vintage glass beads. I have put a number below them, if you would like any of them, send me an email and make sure you mention the number of the pair(s) you like. January 4, 2012. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

It's hard to believe another year has come and gone, and Tucson is right around the corner again. My New Year's Resolution this year, again.... is to keep more up to date on this website! For the last several years I have spent a lot of my time traveling to shows to sell beads, but with the cost of travel and show fees getting so high I'm going to try and focus more attention on the internet again.
